Meet Dr. Mariam at

Sunshine Smiles of Nutley

Dr. Habib is originally from Central Florida. She grew up with a family of dentists. When she was younger, she used to work at her Mom's dental practice, which is where she quickly learned all about dentistry and fell in love with the field.

Dr. Habib received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee. She went on to further her education in a prestigious 1 year residency program at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey.

After completing her training, Dr. Habib returned to Florida to run the family practice for a few years. In 2017, she decided to move back to New Jersey where she furthered her clinical skills by working in Manhattan at a multi-specialty practice.

In 2020, she decided to start her own practice—and opened in 2021!

Dr. Habib completed an intense 1 year Implant Maxicourse in New Jersey to learn about implants and continues to further her implant education by continuously taking courses. Dr. Habib also takes great pride in doing cosmetic dentistry and has completed a series

of Full Mouth Reconstruction courses over several years.

Dr. Habib also offers cosmetic and therapeutic injectables in her practice including Botox, Dermal Fillers, PDO threads and many other services to help her patients stay refreshed and rejuvenated. She is currently a mentor for the American Academy of Facial Esthetics teaching other Dentists/Doctors about these injectable services.

In her free time, Dr. Habib enjoys doing volunteer work and mission trips. In the past, she has participated in several volunteer events to help the underserved, including Mission of Mercy and Free Dentistry Day. She has also served on several mission trips including a few trips to Bolivia and Egypt.

She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. Dr. Habib is continuously taking continuing education courses to stay up-to-date on the best and latest technology to treat her patients.
